ABOUT ME

A former Museum Professional with broad experience in education and programming, exhibit design, docent and volunteer oversight and training, collections management, and community outreach, with further experience working in historical societies, university archives, historic home renovation and historic neighborhood preservation. Lived in Italy for five years as a faculty spouse with young children, and had the unique opportunity to be immersed in an academic environment, studying not only historic art and architecture but also contemporary and traditional craft and design.

“While a mother and homemaker, personal artistic pursuits took precedence over opportunities to work in the outside realm. During that time, I was blessed with commissions to create art for private homes and complete unique design projects. Now an Empty Nester, I’m seeking to return to the public or private sector to work collaboratively with an outstanding creative organization.”
